The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme is open to all Scouts between the ages of 14 years and 25 years. Most of the requirements are similar to the requirements of our own Scout Training and awards. There is no reason why an Explorer Scout or Scout Network Member can not work for both Awards at the same time, one activity counting for both Awards.

Here is an outline of the scheme:-
There are three levels of programme you can do
which, when you've successfully completed lead to a Bronze, Silver or Gold
Award.
The main differences between them are the minimum length of time it takes to
complete them, how challenging it is and the minimum age you can start.
Don’t forget, you have until your 25th birthday to complete whichever level
you’re working on to achieve an Award.
